Spring Engagement Party Ideas

Planning a spring engagement party can be easy when it comes to colors, favors and decor. It’s never too early to take advantage of the season, even in the depths of winter. Who isn’t looking forward to soft pastels, new flowers, birdsong and warmer days? Your engagement party can be an energizing and exciting way to kick off your engagement, even when there’s still snow on the ground. Here are some ideas.

Colors
Pastels -- pink, sky blue and mint green -- are obvious choices, but consider less-common springy colors as well, such as lilac, tangerine and sunny yellow. All of these provide a welcome splash of warm color in late winter and early spring.

Decor
Pussy-willows, lilies and potted crocus are all lovely early spring flowers that would work at a spring engagement party. Small tree branches with forced leaves would bring a little bit of spring inside.

Favors
You can offer personalized seed packets or small bags of flower bulbs as favors for your spring engagement party. You can either order the packets with your picture on them from a website or print up stickers to put on them.

Whether it’s late February or the middle of May, a spring engagement party provides a great setting to celebrate your young engagement. Are you planning a spring engagement party?
