Juggling Wedding Planning and Life

Wedding planning can be stressful, to say the least. There are so many decisions to be made and people to meet with, and if you’re trying to save some money and DIY the decorations or invitations, the wedding can soon consume all your evenings and weekends.
Each bride has different priorities for the wedding, but everyone has a life that needs to come before wedding planning most of the time! It could be work, school, kids or family, or vacations, but regardless, you’ll need to find a balance between getting things accomplished and continuing to live your life.
Take a look at your calendar and decide on a few weekends in the next few months that will be wedding focused, and let your fiance or bridesmaids know that you’ll be working on the wedding and ASK if they’d like to help. Chances are they’ll volunteer for it if they’re free. Once you’ve used up those weekends, it's OK to schedule a few more to tie up loose ends, but if the wedding starts consuming all of your time again, don’t be afraid to cut the nonessential items.
By focusing all of your attention on the wedding details at specific times, you’ll be able to get more done, and find you’ll have more time to spend on your family and on yourself!
Remember: Your wedding day will be beautiful and perfect because you are marrying the person you love, not because of all the details.
